A snatch block is a type of pulley designed to redirect the path of a rope, cable, or wire rope and to increase pulling power in lifting or towing applications. The opening feature permits easy insertion of rope without reeving, or while the block is suspended. Forged alloy steel heat-treated hook. Furnished with a latch installed. Sheave grooves suited for a range of wire line diameters. Fatigue rated. Meets or exceeds all requirements of ASME B30.26 including identification of ductility, design factor, proof load and temperature requirements.
