The superior strength and light weight design make non-metallic fittings an ideal substitute for their metal counterparts, espically where metal materials are not preferred. Nylon fittings should not be used with acid-based fertilizers, bromine, chlorine, fluorine, hydrochloric acid, iodine, nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, or xylene. Nylon should not be used with compressed gas. Perfect in many industrial applications.
