7/8-9 Drillco 2100E Series Spiral Point Tap - Plug - HSS Bright
Drillco 2100E Series Spiral Point Taps are made from general-purpose high-speed steel. The angular flutes at the front end of these taps propel the chips ahead of the tap. This reduce loading and clogging in the flutes. Spiral Point taps are ideal for production tapping thru holes. Sometimes referred to as “Gun Taps”, spiral point taps “shoot” the chips ahead of the tap.
